Titan Quest - mythological action-RPG fun
Started playing Titan Quest about a week ago, it's actually a pretty fun game. Normally I find "action rpg" of this ilk, where you plow thru an endless amount of suicidal enemies, kinda boring. This game does things a little differently. For instance you get to choose two of several different "masteries" or skill sets (earth, spirit, nature, etc), and from there a bunch of choices on skill tree branches within. That leads to a mind boggling number of character development choices instead of the few classes that most games offer.
For a 2006 game, i think it looks really good too. There's 3 main stages of the game: Greece, Egypt, and China. I'm heading into Egypt right now, having just finished Greece
Maolicious (dont ask, inside joke) lv#21 Conjurer
Fun and Frivolity in Mythological Greece
Gained 3 levels tonight, now lv#24, she's a wrecking machine

LoTRo: The Elite that Wasnt
So me and Jess took on an instance of ne'er do wells, that previously was kinda tough (as she's went thru this part before). I was prepared for the worst, but this end fight turned out to be ridiculously easy. I could have soloed this entire encounted no problemo!
Ive always been a fan of fighting the Undead. Zombies, skeletons, vampires, whatever - I'm all over it. So once I found the dead-zone in LoTRO i was all over it. It's pretty expansive, here's a look at the hilly southern region, w/ a ruined city above. Next clip, I actually journey into the ruins.
Fought an Elite enemy in the ruins, nice example of the Hunter's trap ability here. Set the trap up, keeps the enemy locked down for a few when they hit it and does slight damage. He had horrible breath!
